A riverside factory that had previously suffered flooding is now protected by steel flood doors from The Flood Company.
The C3S Projects site is next to the River Calder, in West Yorkshire, and was flooded during the 2015 Boxing Day floods. The factory faces onto the river and flood levels exceeded 1.2m. The doors could not be blocked by flood barriers or bricked up as they were fire exits.
