The Flood Company provides peace of mind for Sovereign Housing tenants
Housing association Sovereign Housing contacted The Flood Company over concerns that 60 of its tenanted properties were at risk of flooding. The company wished to implement an affordable system to reduce the ingress of water and give their tenants some peace of mind.
The Flood Company implemented Hydroshield flood barriers to the property apertures and sealed the perimeter of the property wherever possible. TFC also created a central secure storage facility for the barriers and produced an action plan of where to go and what to do in the event of a flood. The individual homeowners and representatives were also trained on the system.
Sovereign Housing was delighted with the outcome and provided this feedback: “The Flood Company listened to our problem and implemented a cost effective system that gave our tenants peace of mind while providing continuity of rental income.”
