Forticrete launches new Architectural Masonry CPD
Forticrete, the UK’s leading manufacturer of architectural masonry products, has launched a new CPD to help architects and specifiers select the right product for their commercial and public sector projects.
The 30 minute ‘Designing with Architectural Masonry’ CPD covers all vital aspects of design. This includes the internal and external use of masonry, as well as its use as a structural and a non-structural component of a building. The new CPD also provides an overview of aesthetic considerations: colour, face finish and block profile. In addition, the CPD also offers guidance on several other aspects from a design standpoint including fire resistance, thermal efficiency and sound-proofing.
