Can you please advise if slot vents are a mandatory requirement in NON DOMESTIC properties ?
No, they are not mandatory. However, Section 2 of Approved Document F1 of the Building Regulations does explain the statutory requirements for natural ventilation of Buildings other than dwellings.
It also depends on the use of the building and the spaces within the building and therefore slot vents may or may not be of use.
