Hi, I require to put a ventilator in a georgian wire cast glass window without loss of fire proofing. Is there a neat possibly not expensive solution?
Many thanks
Philip
Dear Philip,
I would strongly advise you to discuss the matter with a glass manufacturer and Pilkington is the largest manufacturer of glass in the UK. Tel:01695 50000.
However, I do believe there are intumescent collars that can be fitted to a normal 4 inch vent that would maintain fire proofing.
Kind regards
