Looking for an extractor fan cooling system for a large interior cupboard housing a business server and computer. We cannot close the fire door on the cupboard because heat build-up inside could cause fire.
Suggestions have been made to install extractor fans to stop heat build up. Do not want cost of air conditioned unit.
Need quote, supply and fit cost. Would need someone to come out and look at this.
Your best bet would be to install a Comfort Cooling unit. Perhaps a Toshiba type unit.
See www.theconstructioncentre.co.uk/companies/toshiba-air-conditioning/2627/
There is an expense involved but probably less than replacing your Server/Main-frame after its caught fire!
Consider leasing the equipment with a maintenance contract rather than a outright purchase to spread the cost.
My best advice is to consult an independent Ventilation Engineer that can design and install a suitable system...I suspect your approach is risky and will cost a fortune in wasted heat and electricity.
