What is the max decibel level for a QUIET cooker hood?

I want the quietest possible 90cm cooker hood chimney style, can you recommend any?

When manufacturers refer to 'quiet cooker hoods ' they are generally referring to the noise emanating at a low to medium extraction setting giving about 40 dBA. Unfortunately most quote the dBA for the maximum extraction setting in their specs. Nevertheless it may be worth having a look at the Rangemaster Toledo 90 and the Miele DA5990W on the websites on this page.
