I have a victorian open fireplace that heats water. I am looking for a closed stove to do the same that will fit within the fire opening. Is there such a thing?
Yes, it can be done.
There will be limitations imposed by Building Regulations and your existing central heating and hot water system: i.e wood burning stoves, sealed systems and unvented hot water cylinders.
