VMZINC roof for clubhouse in green belt

For the new £2.5m clubhouse and restaurant of Close House hotel and golf club in Heddon-on-the-Wall, architects Space Group specified a low pitch VMZINC® standing seam roof.

No 19 clubhouse with zinc roof

‘No.19’, a 1000m² contemporary building, was given a pre-weathered QUARTZ-ZINC® roof as part of a design which posed significant planning issues. It is within designated green belt and adjacent to the Grade II-listed Close House Mansion, so zinc was chosen for use with natural stone walls.

The system is ideal for compact, warm roof construction using either rigid or cellular glass insulation on straight or curved roofs. It offers exceptional colour retention and is ideal for complex detailing.
