Urban Front doors for high end development

Doors by Urban Front contributed to the high end feel of a development of four large houses in the North of England.

Iroko door with side lights

All the houses in the Oaktree Developments site follow a U-shape floorplan, with the garages on one side and the living areas on the other, and the front entrance in the middle. By using a turret style for one and a large atrium style entrance for another, among other designs, the designer has created individuality and interest.

By using Iroko as the hardwood, and using different configurations of the same door design, continuity is still established. The door design used is the Parma, a very simple contemporary but still classic design and a popular choice for developers generally. The doors were also all Pivot which added to the wow factor.

Oaktree wanted to create the feeling of grandeur without necessarily using double doors which is the traditional choice on large houses like these. To create a more contemporary feel, Pivot doors were used with side-lights and boarded panels. These look amazing internally too, and add warmth with the deep reddish-brown look of Iroko.

Using etch glass on one of the entrances softens the light and provides privacy all at once. Matching the internal doors in finish help to highlight the front door in the white walls surrounding it too.
