Updates to Flakt Woods JMv Axial Flow Fan range
Fläkt Woods’ successful JMv Axial Flow Fan is now available in even more sizes – 11 diameters, from 315 - 1000mm.
Launched in April 2015, with the aim of exceeding ErP efficiency targets, while still offering great functionality, running cost savings and reliability in a wide variety of applications; the JMv has proved to be an extremely versatile and economical new product. Sales are already around the 1,000 mark.
The latest updates further increase the potential of this fan. Key features are:

Energy efficiency is a core principle of design with all Fläkt Woods’ fans. With a typical operational life of 12 years, and based on a representative 500mm fan, operated for 50% of the time, the 1,000 JMv fans sold so far will save 32,149 tonnes of carbon dioxide. This saving is equivalent to driving around the world more than 3,000 times by car or going by plane around the world nearly 540 times!
However, environmental concerns are not the only factor. Escalating energy costs are also a significant additional incentive for the Fläkt Woods’ development team. The JMv product is a perfect example of achieving the goals of delivering the same (or better) functionality while reducing the power used by a fan, and therefore cutting running costs.
