Ultra Tile creates stylish first impression
Lancashire based Tile Style has refurbished an office block’s reception using Level IT one HDB, Pro-Rapid RS and FlexJoint from the award-winning manufacturer Ultra Tile.
Having used Ultra Tile products for over 5 years, Tile Style are happy to endorse their reliability and outstanding finish, and chose to use the brand on their recent project in Manchester.
They were commissioned to install 600 x 600 grey floor tiles in a 350m² office block reception. The project was completed in 6 weeks and included subfloor preparation.
Levelling compound, Level IT one HDB was applied to prepare the substrate prior to installing the tiles. The product is supplied in 25kg bags and can be pumped making simple work of large areas.
The levelling compound’s formulation is rapid setting, non-shrink, protein free and the product can be applied at thicknesses up to 50mm!
ProRapid RS is a multi-purpose, trade-designed tile adhesive offering high-strength, rapid set, flexible characteristics at a commercial price which was perfectly suited to the project and favoured by Tile Style. It may be used to fix ceramic, mosaic and natural stone tiles to solid substrates and is available in 20kg bags.
The floor was grouted using FlexJoint in grey, an ultimate flexi grout which is super fine in texture, polymer modified, mould resistant and water repellent.
On completion of the project Contracts Manager, Shaun Gallagher said: “The floor was solid and the grout dried a consistent colour so overall a fantastic finish.”
