Press Room: The Sash Window Workshop van is a good spot for neighbour

The Sash Window Workshop van is a good spot for neighbour

Spotting a The Sash Window Workshop van outside a neighbour’s house proved fortuitous for a London homeowner looking to replace windows and doors.

New patio door

The client said: “We decided to purchase new windows and doors as our 1960 / 1970s patio sliding door and the windows that we had at our house were very thin, and didn’t feel very secure.

“As new windows and doors are an expensive purchase, we wanted to ensure that they would be of high quality and built to last, so we wouldn’t need to be replacing them a few years later. The standard of the work was therefore very important, so we wanted to be able to see the quality of the work before purchasing.

“We noticed The Sash Window Workshop’s van parked on our street, so we asked our neighbour how happy they were with the work that The Sash Window Workshop did for them, and whether they would recommend them. This also meant that we were able to see the final result of the work they did for ourselves. Seeing the high-quality standard of work that The Sash Window Workshop did for our neighbour, we then contacted them to arrange a site visit for a quotation.

“The Sash Window Workshop has since manufactured and installed most of our windows and doors, including replacing our patio sliding door for a new timber bi-fold door. We are very happy with the products and workmanship that they have done for us, and would recommend them.”

The Sash Window Workshop initially installed new timber casement windows at the property, and was delighted when the client was so happy with its products and workmanship that she decided to contact the company again for additional new casement windows and doors, alongside draught sealing an existing door at the property.

Each of the original casement windows at the property had detailing within the window. This meant that when designing and manufacturing new windows, The Sash Window Workshop had to ensure that they had the same detail, to fit with the aesthetic look and feel of the property.

The Sash Window Workshop is proud to offer clients bespoke, high quality windows and doors that can meet their individual requirements.
