Successful testing set to open doors for James Latham
James Latham has successfully tested the Moralt FireSmoke 54mm door blank as a single doorset to PAS 24 and BS EN 6375 Pt. 1 and 2.
The testing encompasses enhanced security performance, operating forces, mechanical strength and air permeability to name just a few of the requirements.
The UK Building Regulations, Approved Document Q came into effect on 1 October 2015, meaning that dwellings built in England will now have to include a minimum level of security, and the PAS 24 set of tests are one option of compliance.
