Stiltz Home Lifts presents first Lunch and Learn webinar
As a proud Commercial Partner of Foundations (the National Body for Home Improvement), Stiltz Trade Sales Director Gino Farruggio presented at the most recent 2020 webinar in April.
The webinar included a DFG overview to explain the most recent changes, a presentation from Closomat on Making Numbers Work and Gino’s presentation about how having a Stiltz Home Lift can enable individuals to live more independently and confidently in their own homes. The webinar was attended by local authority representatives such as Grants Officers and Occupational Therapists.
Here, Gino explains about the event and what his presentation consisted of. He said: “Firstly, I’d like to commend the Foundations team for this great and informative service they offer. Approximately 300 people accessed the webinar where I explained the Stiltz Home Lifts product and service offering, I was also honoured to share the news of our very recent Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade. Additionally, I provided information on the latest training offering which we can now run as a remote learning opportunity to adapt to the current times.”
Stiltz is delighted to be able to offer virtual Lunch and Learn webinars. These workshops are designed as an alternative to traditional face-to-face meetings whilst this extended period of self-isolating and lockdown continues.
The Lunch and Learn series of workshops from Stiltz Home Lifts provide an opportunity to learn about how older and less mobile clients are able to transfer safely between floors and live a full and independent life in their own home.
The workshops will cover:

- Assessing a property for a home lift
- Technical overview
- Home lift vs stairlift
- Home lift funding channels
- Question and answer session.
