Stiltz Home Lifts on the move again
In the second major move of 2020, expanding Stiltz Home Lifts has opened a new, larger headquarters – just across the road from its old West Midlands base.
Stiltz HQ was a 16,000 square feet building on the Pensnett Estate in Kingswinford. The team moved there in 2016 with plans to stay for 10 years. However, due to the success and growth of the business, a mere 4 years later the building was bursting at the seams and temporary cabins had been brought in for makeshift office space.
So, the company commissioned a purpose-built facility that is a whopping 36,000 square feet in size and becomes a new Worldwide Stiltz Headquarters. The team moved into the new site, at Building E, Prime Point, Dandy Bank Road, Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, on Monday July 20th. It features a whole range of facilities, including a state-of-the-art Training Hub, a global Research and Development Centre of Excellence plus a purpose-built showroom showcasing the range of Home Lifts available.
While continuing to host the Customer Service and Technical Teams, the new HQ will also become a hive of activity with increased levels of distribution of Stiltz Home Lifts across the UK.
Earlier this year, the South-East Stiltz team moved to new offices in Wokingham which incorporate a purpose-built showroom where customers can visit to experience using a Stiltz Home Lift for themselves. The building also houses a new training facility for sales, technical, installation and product training.
Lachlan Faulkner, the company’s founding Director who is based in the Wokingham office, explained: “It’s important when investing in a home lift, to be able to touch and feel it and see how it works. It can be difficult to envisage how the lift actually goes through the floor, and this is a perfect opportunity for visitors to see a Stiltz in action and to ‘test drive’ it.”
