Space Air Wins Energy Monitoring Award
Space Air won the Energy Monitoring Award at the National Heat Pump Awards (NHPA) held at the ICC Birmingham in May.
Space Air has worked with Wiltshire Rural Housing Association for over 7 years, monitoring the energy efficiency of their Daikin Altherma systems, complemented with Space Air’s essential accessories at one of their key developments.
It was estimated that the Daikin Altherma systems combined with Space Air’s essential accessories would save the residents up to 53% on annual running costs and 55% on CO2 emissions compared to oil-fired boiler systems which were considered. The post occupancy results based on regular monitoring have continually exceeded the predicted savings.
