Servaclean bar system installed under period counter

When pubs can re-open, the bar at the Sheffield Tap will be simple to clean up and put into action thanks to its stainless-steel versatile system from Servaclean.

The pub and its on-site microbrewery are housed in the restored former derelict Edwardian Refreshment Room of Sheffield Station. When opened in 2009 by specialist beer importer, Pivovar, it featured period mahogany shelving behind the bar to match the period counter lovingly reconstructed and approved by English Heritage for the listed building.
But 10 years on, the mahogany shelves were not faring well. Pivovar co-founder Jamie Hawksworth still had Servaclean’s original plans to hand and after a recap site visit, a small tweak here and here to the layout, the team installed a stainless-steel bar system under the period featured existing counter.
Servaclean installers, working with an organised contracting team, took less than 18 hours to complete the full works at the Sheffield Tap.
Pivovar champions Real ale and other specialist beers from around the world and the UK. Servaclean has also worked with Pivovar and Thornbridge Brewery at the Pavement Vaults in York, Market Cat in York, The Bankers Cat in Leeds and The Colmore in Birmingham - all beautifully refurbished with traditional finishes, sympathetic with each building’s individual history and all featuring a good ‘new fashioned’ Servaclean Stainless Steel Bar System behind the bar.
