PCE to launch new HVAC clamp meter

To increase its existing range of clamp meters for various applications and to cover HVAC needs as well, PCE Instruments will soon launch a new PCE-HVAC 6 designed for HVAC technicians. This clamp meter will be highly accurate and reliable, which is most important when carrying out diagnostic and maintenance work on HVAC systems.

The PCE-HVAC 6 can measure AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current in µA, mA and A, resistance, temperature in degrees C and degrees F, capacitance, frequency and continuity. Diode tests are also possible.

The size of the meter and of the clamp makes it easy to hold the instrument in one hand and to measure in confined spaces. The LCD with backlight makes it easy to read out the measured values. To save battery power, the PCE-HVAC 6 has an Auto Power Off function.

The new hand-held clamp meter PCE-HVAC 6 will come with test leads, a K-type thermocouple, a rechargeable 9 V battery and a carrying case.
