Owners of listed property praise work of The Sash Window Workshop

The Sash Window Workshop was contacted to replace 9 casement windows and 2 French doors at a listed property in Berkshire.

A sales surveyor met with the customer at their property to discuss their requirements and provide them with a free, no obligation quotation. When the order was placed, a second survey was carried out to confirm all the exact details and drawings were provided to the customer to use as part of their planning application.
When planning permission had been obtained, final details were reviewed to ensure that the windows and doors aligned with the details stipulated by the planners. The windows and doors were then manufactured in The Sash Window Workshop’s premises in Bracknell, Berkshire.
At The Sash Window Workshop, all the windows and doors are made to measure. This allows the company to manufacture bespoke timber windows and doors to meet the specific requirements imposed on listed buildings and in conservation areas.
The customer now has beautiful new timber windows and doors and is delighted with the work, commenting: “We were really impressed by the quality of the product and by the skill of the fitters. They were polite, charming, very quick and very good at tidying up. Fantastic job and we already feel the benefit. Even the aircraft noise is barely discernible.”
