Newton Waterproofing joins forces with leading contractor in Scotland
Scottish and North of England waterproofing contractor Richardson & Starling has joined Newton Waterproofing Systems’ network of approved contractors, leading to benefits for both companies.
As the first company to introduce the concept of an approved contractor scheme in the waterproofing industry, Newton Waterproofing Systems always selectively picks the members of its Newton Specialist Basement Contractor (NSBC) network. As well as meeting the stringent entry requirements, contractors must also participate in continuous training in order to maintain the high standards of product knowledge and installation. Considering these prerequisites, very few new contractors have been added to the NSBC network in recent years – Richardson & Starling however, breaks this mould by meeting and exceeding all of the requirements set before them.
Richardson & Starling Managing Director Graham Duncan is delighted with the new status: “This new partnership will see Richardson & Starling substantially improving on our existing waterproofing systems and service levels across Scotland and the North of England. Our success in the industry since 1935 has already resulted in 11 branches in Scotland, one in Cumbria, and 25 experienced CSSWs (Certified Surveyors in Structural Waterproofing) who work with our clients to deliver bespoke waterproofing solutions.
