Newgate team rack up health and safety accreditations
Newgate is pleased to announce that its Senior Management Team have just under-taken, and passed, a series of Health and Safety Standards.
Both the General Manager and the Health and Safety Manager are now Graduate members of IOSH (Grad IOSH), following a City and Guilds Level 5 Diploma.
Even the ‘old dinosaur’ of a Managing Director has passed the British Safety Council’s Health and Safety for Directors Course.
This goes hand in hand with the company’s pass of the ISO 45001 2018 Health and Safety Management Accreditation in February 2020.

With preventative measures in place and many staff operating from home, it is business as usual at Newgate and the company has just been awarded a £43,000 contract to supply and install an assortment of new vehicle and pedestrian equipment at the Kellogg’s site in Wrexham.
The list of security and access control equipment ordered includes: Four Automatic ‘Challenger’ Barriers; three Automatic ‘H.D’ Barriers; two Full Height Turnstiles; one Electric Pedestrian Gate.
