Groundtrax Systems Ltd launches new products

Ground protection and reinforcement solutions provider Groundtrax Systems Ltd has expanded its range to include a number of new and innovative products.

Groundtrax Perfo-AK tiles

Already well known for selling and hiring out GroundMatz panels for creating temporary roadways, and GroundGridz ground reinforcement mesh, the company has added two ranges of ground reinforcement tiles, an extremely strong cellular paving made from recycled plastics, a mesh to reinforce grass surfaces and a geotextile.

The ground reinforcement tile ranges are Perfo-AK and Perfo-SD. Both offer easy installation using rammers, whacker plates and rollers, with no need for any digging in most cases. The design allows for natural drainage and the grass to grow through and intertwine with the structure. They are ideal for parking areas, access tracks, showgrounds, airfields, holiday parks and caravan sites, driveways, mobility paths and golf buggy paths.

Perfo-AK are heavy duty grass and ground reinforcement tiles that are fixed with large ground anchors to keep them firm even in poor ground. A two-tier design helps to suppress mud from below. They can withstand loads of at least 100 t/m² once laid. Perfo-SD are interlocking tiles designed for medium loads.

Another new product is TruckPave, cellular paving made from recycled plastic that is easy to handle yet strong enough to withstand lorries, dustcarts and coaches. The pavers come in two thicknesses and the cells can be filled with either gravel or a topsoil/grass seed mixture for use in different environments.

For protecting heavily-used grass surfaces prone to smearing, GrassProtecta is another new product. The polyethylene mesh is easy to install, with no soil removal generally required. The oscillated mesh provides good traction and can accommodate shallow slopes. As the grass grows through, the mesh soon becomes unobtrusive in car parks or pedestrian areas.

The final new product is Terram T1000, a standard geotextile for separation and filtration uses in roads, car parks, footpaths and green roofs.
