Good Directions installs clocks for Poundbury Estate
Good Directions has made classic Roman style clock dials for the Tower at the Poundbury Estate in Dorset, Prince Charles’ urban development that aims to provide a high quality sustainable environment based around people, not cars.
Three 1840mm diameter Classic Roman style clock dials were created and installed, with engineers using a large cherry picker to install the dials into apertures in the tower.
Each clock was fitted with one of Good Directions’ CL300 mechanisms operated by its Resynchroniser Controllers, which will restart the clocks after any power failures and is pre-programmed to alter the clocks at the summer and winter time changes for the next 20 years.
