Good Directions bespoke weathervanes show off interests
Weathervanes are an ideal way to personalise a property with something demonstrating the owners’ interests. Over many years of experience, Good Directions has adapted its three-dimensional weathervanes in dozens of ways to meet bespoke requests.
Custom designs can be manufactured to any size and from virtually any material. The company can work from artwork supplied or the team can help to design a unique weathervane.
A recent example was this silhouette weathervane in 3mm mild steel where racing colours detailing was added to the image of a horse and jockey. Another bespoke weathervane project featured a silhouette submarine weathervane, waterjet cut in 3mm mild steel with a black powder coat finish.
Sporting interests and animals feature in many of Good Directions’ standard range of weathervanes, which are designed to complement and fit the company’s range of cupolas and clock towers but can also be supplied with fixing kits for wall and roof mounting.
The smaller sized Cottage range has been designed to be suitable for structures such as garden sheds, conservatories, garages and garden walls.
Standard materials used are mild steel, stainless steel or copper but others can be requested. Standard width of the compass points section is 610mm, or 305mm for the cottage size, with heights varying depending on design. Bespoke designs can be any size.
