Flowcrete UK Industrial Floor Tour
Autumn is going to be an industrious time for Flowcrete UK – as it will be taking its industrial flooring range to a number of prominent manufacturing, engineering and processing exhibitions across Europe.
The resin-flooring specialist has developed a wide range of innovative solutions that can withstand the worst physical, chemical and heat abuses within even the largest and most intensive industrial facilities.
These systems have not only been designed to last for an extended period of time but to also maximise the operational efficiency of a facility. The seamless nature of the floors makes them hygienic and easy-to-clean whilst innovative design features can be incorporated into the finish, including customisable anti-slip aggregates, highly effective antimicrobial additives and bright colours that can be used to create vivid signage or add vibrancy to the environment.
At three prestigious events in autumn, professionals from a long list of market sectors will be able to talk to Flowcrete UK about how its adaptable and hard wearing systems can create a multifunctional floor space tailored to the bespoke demands of a specific site.
The first exhibition of the season will be the PPMA Show 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham from 30th Sept - 2nd Oct. At stand J71 of the event the processing and packaging sector will be able to find out how to apply a floor that can face up to the inevitable large and bulky equipment, the constant movement of staff and forklift trucks, the ever present possibility of heavy items being dropped as well as thermal cycling and frequent exposure to corrosive cleaning chemicals.
Following directly on from PPMA is the Northern Manufacturing & Electronics event, taking place at Manchester’s Event City from 1st – 2nd Oct. This will bring the North’s top equipment manufacturers and engineering firms together under one roof, where Flowcrete UK will be on hand to demonstrate the type of systems that have been embraced by large-scale production facilities around the world.
At Flowcrete UK’s next event, the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit (EMS), it will be presenting on the operational, sustainable and decorative benefits of its resin flooring systems to senior level figures from across Europe’s manufacturing spectrum. Held in Düsseldorf from 27th – 29th October, this 3-day conference will see industry leaders come together to assess the sector and forecast its future.
A key industrial manufacturing case study that Flowcrete UK will be expanding on at EMS is its work with the luxury automotive manufacturer Bentley Motors. Flowcrete UK has a long history of close collaboration with Bentley, which included the installation of 22,500 square metres of the industrial coating Flowcoat SF41 in its main production facility in Crewe during a £64 million refurbishment of the site. This partnership continues today, as a new area of the factory was recently created that included a Flowcrete UK floor.
The Flowcrete UK team will be on hand at each of these events – sharing its expertise with visitors to identify the ideal solution for a facility, refurbishment, flooring problem or development, regardless of industry, scope or scale.
