Express Bi-folding doors for TV makeover home
The team at Express Bi-folding Doors were delighted to be asked to help with a television makeover programme fronted by Alan Titchmarsh.
For ITV’s Love Your Home & Garden series, Alan and his team were challenged with creating stunning indoor and outdoor spaces for truly inspiring and deserving people. In the final episode, Alan met Ann and Richard Price from Chester, who have devoted their lives to helping others. Having fostered more than 20 children and helped raise and train assistance dogs over the last decade, there are few families who are as deserving of a home renovation than the Prices!
Unfortunately, taking care of their home and garden had fallen off their priority list and they were left with an uninspiring, unloved and disjointed space, when really what they needed was a haven to relax at the end of a tiring day.
Working with Alan Titchmarsh and the Love Your Home & Garden team, Express Bi-folding Doors quickly drafted up plans for a bespoke set of aluminium sliding doors for their kitchen extension, with the help of award-winning project designer James Stroud. The aim was to bridge the gap between inside and out and flood their home with light.
The finished result features a stunning, extended kitchen that opens seamlessly to the newly revamped outdoor space, complete with vegetable garden and play area for Ann and Richard’s granddaughter!
