CPM supplies environmentally friendly rainwater harvesting system to supermarket

A supermarket in Reading, Berkshire, is able to harvest and reuse rainwater after CPM supplied a large pipe tank with in-built filter, while the supermarket was under construction.

The client wanted an environmentally friendly rainwater harvesting system that could be used to collect and store rainwater to be recycled and reused throughout the facility where applicable. The aim was to reduce water usage and demand on the local water company, complying with advice that new developments should not be reliant on amenities that are in short supply.
CPM has developed a sustainable system for the collection, storage and supply of water to help reduced the demand for mains water for both domestic and commercial buildings.
For the supermarket project, CPM supplied a 60m³ 1800mm pipe tank complete with a pre-fitted 5000 litre in-house filter from the Oasis Rainwater and Greywater Harvesting system. This is just one of a complete package of storm attenuation solutions provided by CPM.
CPM is a founder member of the UK Rainwater Harvesting Association and can be trusted to provide storage tanks which are manufactured in precast reinforced concrete that have a 120 year design life, giving you long term peace of mind.
