Clements Plant Places its Largest Ever Order for Niftylifts

At the recent Vertikal Days Exhibition at Haydock Park, Coventry-based Clements Plant placed its biggest ever single order for access equipment with Niftylift.

Clements Plant order sealed

The order with British manufacturer Niftylift was for Height Riders and includes the new HR17 and HR21 Hybrids, HR15N and HR17Ns, and the ever popular HR12 narrow bi-energy.

Tim Ward of Niftylift commented: “It’s very pleasing to have such long established customers like Jim (Longstaff) and John (Jennings) investing in our equipment. They totally believe in where we are going and what we are trying to achieve. We invest heavily in our research and development to ensure our equipment is on the very cutting edge of technology. Contrary to popular belief, British manufacturing is very much alive and well.”

Jim Longstaff of Clements added: “For us to not only survive but to grow our business, we need to offer our customers the very best equipment. For the first time, the new Hybrid power system from Niftylift allows us to have machines that can work 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, whilst also helping to reduce our carbon foot print. The HR12s and narrow 15m and 17m machines are extremely popular and we have to add to our fleet to keep up with customer demand.”

Ian Burton has recently joined Clements Plant as Business Development Manager and his appointment adds to their aggressive drive in the mobile platform sector of their business.
