Vortice Team Plants 50 Trees in National Forest
For the second year of their sponsorship of the National Forest, three members of the Vortice team from their offices in Burton on Trent planted 50 trees in a 32-acre woodland in Melbourne, Derbyshire.
It was a little easier to get the trees planted this year, as the weather was milder and the ground not so hard, and the team was delighted to see how much last year’s 50 trees had grown in the 12-month period.
Vortice has provided effective solutions for improved air quality for 50 years, using the latest technology to develop and manufacture effective products worldwide. Energy efficient ventilation products top its product portfolio and this year the company has launched a new smaller scale heat recovery system, the HR200. Vortice also builds re-use into its product ranges wherever possible.
Environmental Manager Samantha Jones said: “We began this sponsorship in 2009 and have been delighted to renew it for 2010/11. Vortice is active in developing energy-efficient ventilation systems and our tree planting programme is an extension of that desire for carbon reduction.”
Vortice will be exhibiting its energy efficient products at Ecobuild in March 2011 on stand N1155. More information about Vortice’s energy saving products can be found at http://www.vortice.ltd.uk
