Richard Burbidge Launch New CPD Seminar

New Balustrade CPD Seminar available from Richard Burbidge

Balustrade expert Richard Burbidge has launched a new CPD seminar, providing architects with a comprehensive guide to specifying internal balustrade for staircases and other interior areas.

RIBA approved, the seminar provides an overview of the importance of stair balustrade as a safety and aesthetic feature, looking in particular at the latest Building Regulations and strength testing requirements for residential and commercial applications.

The seminar also examines the design and structure of staircases, as well as the wide variety of materials used in balustrade systems and their aesthetic impact.

Richard Burbidge has been manufacturing balustrade systems for over 40 years and supplies a market-leading range, suitable for installation in homes, apartment buildings, offices, hotels and leisure facilities.

David Richards, Commercial Market Manager for Richard Burbidge, comments: “The specification of suitable internal balustrade is essential for creating safe staircases that are fit for use. It can also enhance a property’s aesthetic appeal, especially as the staircase is likely to be one of the first interior features seen by building users.

“Our new seminar provides architects with all the information they need to confidently design staircases with balustrade that will add value and achieve maximum visual effect.”

Richard Burbidge offers a range of support services for architects including STAIRPLANNER, a unique new online design tool for staircases.
