Revetment introduces new Coffer Dam from Hydrological Solutions
Aqua-Barrier™ is now available in the UK through Revetment Limited, for deployment in a number of applications for pipeline, boat ramp, canal and culvert installation and repair, shoreline stabilisation, bridge construction and much more.
Aqua-Barriers™ have a number of advantages over traditional de-watering solutions that are highlighted in the features section below and they are available in a number of standard lengths and heights from as small as 1ft by 30ft to 8ft by 100ft long.
A maximum height of 6 feet of water can be supported by the 8 foot high dam always allowing for a 25% freeboard.
Aqua-Barrier™ employs a patented fixed internal baffle system to guarantee stability and safety of its unique water-inflated dam. When the Aqua-Barrier™ is exposed to uneven hydrostatic pressure, the internal baffle system locks into place.
Ease of Use
Aqua-Barriers have a unique lifting loop on each end which enables a track hoe arm to control the barrier while installing and removing. This allows for minimal manual labour during the installation & removal process.
Environmentally Friendly
Aqua-Barriers are installed using the available water source at the jobsite with minimal adverse impact to the environment. Post job restoration is not needed using Aqua-Barriers. Simple drain and remove the barriers from the water with little or no turbidity.
Large Scale Projects
Multiple Aqua-Barriers can be connected together to cover large areas. The Aqua-Barriers are connected to one another by utilizing a simple overlapping procedure that requires no additional time during the installation and no potentially hazardous underwater work

Aqua-Barriers install in less time than most conventional cofferdam methods.
Approximately 500 linear feet of Aqua-Barriers can be installed in 1 day using 6 men, 2 track hoes and 2 water pumps
Durable
Aqua-Barriers are made with a scrim reinforced PVC material and industrial grade fittings and intended to be reused numerous times. The Aqua-Barrier system is infield repairable in wet or dry conditions utilizing a repair kit which is provided with each order.
