Metrotile Lightweight Roofing Continues to Impress Housing Authorities
Metrotile Lightweight Steel Roofing’s popularity with Housing Authorities has continued to grow as the Future Proof Roof now adorns rejuvenated BISF homes at Willow Crescent, Normanton.
The homes, initially built post World War II as temporary housing with a life expectancy of around 40 years, use Metrotile profiles for the rooftops and mansards. This has provided an increase in each home’s insulation, bringing them into line with modern standards while reducing the resident’s energy bills.
The homes were refurbished as part of a programme arranged by Wakefield and District Housing and specified by Architects NPS. Glen Leatherbarrow, Business Development Manager for project roofing contractors Ultegra states: "Metrotile is a modern company with old-fashioned customer service values. Unlike many other companies, they go one step beyond to help. They work ‘with’ you instead of for you and their after-sales care is second to none.”
Metrotile lightweight steel roofing systems are backed by an industry-leading 40-year weatherproof guarantee. For further information visit http://www.metrotile.co.uk.
