Garden2Office launch Eco Cabins
Following the launch at eco build 08, Garden2office Ltd is now able to supply the construction industry and self-builders with kits for sustainable garden buildings.
These easy-to-build kits provide a bespoke, quality building for a log cabin price and add value to any project.
The superior insulation levels and flexible modular wall panels make these Swedish manufactured units perfect for use as commercial offices, home work spaces, studios, gyms, music rooms, home Cinema’s or den. In fact, if you need extra space that’s sustainable, economical and fast to install, these buildings are the perfect solution.
Each unit is made from certified Swedish timber, Isover recycled glass wool insulation and interlocking formaldehyde-free plywood profiles. Building Regulations standard triple glazing and Tyvek’s new generation of membranes are used as standard, to keep the building cool in summer and warm in winter. The exceptional sound insulation qualities of these buildings also makes them the ideal spaces in an urban environment.
The ‘eco cabins’ are available in two formats:
Full kit: including cladding and engineered board flooring, Plannja Swedish steel roof panels
Bare shell: modular wall units, floor and roof cassettes

- All parts can be taken though a standard interior door for difficult access sites. Low weight blocks max 130kg. Eight screws hold on each interior wall panel, making electrical routing easy and concealed.
Service
- Bespoke service millions of combinations of wall, window and door units are possible, producing any shape of building. Mono pitch or conventional trussed roof styles - grass roofing possible
- Simple build, with small teams, no specialist skills and only basic hand and power tools.
- Unique Karl Hedin pre-painted cladding adds to the beauty of these buildings. This factory-painted cladding is given two coats of finish within 90 seconds of the timber leaving the saw blade.
- Cedar and other timbers also available.
