Aquobex wins two awards
Flood protection specialist Aquobex won two awards at the Resilience Business Cup at Vejle, Denmark. These awards were for the Impact and Water categories.
Aquobex’s Research Consultant Martin Dolan delivered pitches sharing the organisation’s development of i-REACT with its European consortium partners. i-REACT is a technology platform for first responders and resilient businesses, which captures the power of engaged and active citizens and communities using integration tools, machine learning and social media. It sees the launch of the first i-react fully operational pilot in collaboration with Vejle municipality.
Martin’s pitch focused on how this technology fits into a holistic approach to managing the risks to communities vulnerable to disasters such as flood, earthquake and fire.
Beside the kudos and the prize itself, it provides Aquobex with further partnering and funding opportunities. Aquobex thanks Vejle Municipality, 100 RC and Grundfos for the co-operation and collaboration and looks forward to creating a more resilient world.
