Ahmarra elevates learning environment at Freemantles SEND School
Freemantles SEND School, renowned for its commitment to providing specialised education for children and young people with complex social communication needs, sought to expand its facilities to accommodate two cohorts for all year groups. To realize this vision, the school partnered with Morgan Sindall, Bond Bryan Architects, and Ahmarra Doors to create a conducive learning environment that prioritizes student emotional wellbeing.
Ahmarra Doors rose to the occasion by manufacturing over 130 bespoke timber doorsets, each meticulously crafted to meet the school's unique requirements. From fire-rated doorsets to acoustic doors and glazed side screens, Ahmarra's offerings combine functionality with elegance.
Safety is paramount at Freemantles SEND School, and Ahmarra ensured that every door met stringent safety standards. With finger guards to prevent accidents and durable construction designed to withstand heavy foot traffic, Ahmarra's doorsets offer peace of mind to staff, students, and parents alike.
Access control was another crucial aspect of the project, and Ahmarra delivered with surface-mounted mag-locks and wall readers. The integration of high-quality ironmongery and efficient closers further enhances the usability and security of the doors.
Sustainability was not overlooked in the manufacturing process, with Ahmarra Doors using FSC® certified timber and eco-friendly laminates. The result is a harmonious blend of aesthetics and environmental responsibility, enriching the learning experience for all.
