Westbury Windows and Joinery Company Profile
Westbury Windows and Joinery was established in 1992 and offers a range of timber doors, roof lanterns and windows.
As the sister company to Westbury Garden Rooms, each bespoke item, from a classic sash window to a contemporary entrance door, is manufactured with the same care, detail, timber, paint and ironmongery as in Westbury’s high performance garden buildings.
Whether you are building a new home or restoring an older property, Westbury offers timber windows, doors and roof lanterns in a wide variety of styles and finishes to suit your project.
Though embracing new technologies, the company also appreciates the value of skilled craftsmanship. Westbury Windows and Joinery experts do not opt-out of the detail for ease and speed of manufacture, but instead take the time to craft flush joints, sharp edges and traditional mouldings. Each product is hand-finished to ensure all are truly exceptional.
Not only are Westbury’s timber products beautiful to look at, they are also high performance and low maintenance.
Items are manufactured using premium grade, knot-free, engineered timber (including Accoya®) for its proven durability and stability. They are completed with spray-applied micro porous paint which offers very low maintenance (painting every 10 years recommended) and a superior finish.
Westbury windows and doors are acoustic, security and weather tested to ensure they meet and even exceed the required industry standard.
The standard, double-glazed, sealed units are made up of 4-20-4mm (4-16-4mm in roof lanterns) toughened glass, argon-filled, with a Low E coating and warm edge spacer bars. Options offered include laminations to further improve acoustic, solar or security performance.

Roof Lanterns
Lanterns can be made to any size and pitch, with consideration being given to correct proportion, depth of shelf, beam dimension and hip shape. There is a choice of decorative cornicing to the internal aperture, and optional curved hips with cock bead detail.
Externally, the timber is protected by powder-coated aluminium roof cappings which are maintenance free.
Ventilation is provided from top-hung sashes, with a thermostatic operation which allows for automatic opening and closing dependent on temperature and rain sensors.
