Traditional Roof Lanterns Company Profile
Traditional Roof Lanterns design, manufacture and supply traditional roof lanterns for both domestic and commercial applications. The company was established in 1982, producing high quality building timber conservatories primarily for period houses. In 1985, the company began making roof lanterns and the introduction of a standard design reduced manufacturing costs which enabled more customers to install roof lanterns and add light to their property. Due to the success and popularity of the product the company now focuses wholly on the production of roof lanterns.
Products and Services
Applications have included pubs and restaurants, swimming pools, offices, along with domestic use. The roof lantern can be used in both new building projects or incorporated into existing structures, which completely transforms the room below. The company supplies not only standard sizes but also bespoke roof lanterns, which assuming structural considerations are met, can be built to any size.
Whether the client chooses a standard or bespoke roof lantern, all materials used in the construction of the roof lantern are guaranteed for 10 years. The timber used in the construction is Utile or Brazilian cedar or an equivalent hardwood timber classified as durable or very durable. High quality advanced microporous paints and stains are used and coloured finishes are available on request. This ensures the lantern will last many years with a minimum amount of maintenance.
