TP24 was established in 2001 and specialises in the supply of an extensive range of innovative low energy lighting. The lighting ranges encompass a wide variety of functional and decorative uses and all products are well boxed, checked, labelled and scheduled for installation by an electrician. L1 Low Energy is a complete collection of designer lights manufactured exclusively by TP24 and incorporates the L1 dedicated end cap and lamp holder and all are compliant with Part L of Building Regulations.
Energy Saving Lighting
TP24 is committed to providing energy saving products at highly competitive prices. Low energy bulbs typically use around 80% less energy than traditional bulbs. Lighting technology has greatly improved over time as more and more people are turning to environmentally friendly, cost effective alternatives and the low energy options offer the same quality lighting levels as the older, more traditional bulbs. Energy saving bulbs now offer instant light and within 15 seconds a person should be able to read and within 30 seconds full brightness will be achieved. As the phasing out of the traditional bulb continues, packaging on the new bulbs is displaying the light output in lumens rather than watts. Candle and standard GLS energy saving bulbs last around 8,000 hours (around 4-5 years), compared to a standard bulb only lasting around 1,000 hours and the low energy spot bulbs last around 10,000 hours.
Products
All the products supplied by TP24 are easy to install and the majority of fittings are provided with unique, patented HSR and HSS head systems that allow the light to be installed over a standard ceiling rose, eliminating the need to rewire. All lamps are lead free and meet the requirements set out by the government on heavy metals.
