Dense Concrete Blocks
Designed for installation both above and below Damp Proof Coursing, these dense concrete blocks are available in the following four textures: standard, paint, grade and fair faced. The company can manufacture this product to solid, cellular or hollow configurations, with all holding 1.13 W/mk thermal conductivity.
Lightweight Aggregate Blocks
Manufactured from various furnace bottom ash and approved lightweight aggregates, these blocks can be used in both commercial and private housing buildings. This product assists in accomplishing thermal regulations and single lift handling requirements. For applications requiring single lift specifications, the company provides a choice of 100mm or 140mm thick blocks, as either standard or fair faced application.
Foundation Blocks
A product ideal for house builders, these economical foundation blocks are used below Damp Proof Coursing and provide a simple, efficient solution to the construction process. Thomas Armstrong Concrete Blocks will manufacture these to Class 3 if more sulphate resistance is required.
Flooring
Designed to fit cleanly into the T beam profile, Thomas Armstrong Concrete Blocks manufacture T beam block and beam flooring, providing both large and small T blocks. This product is available in 4 sizes.
Paviors
Thomas Armstrong Concrete Blocks provide these driveway blocks in a range of designs and fittings. Rectangular can be manufactured in several colours and comes in the standard thicknesses of 50 or 60mm. The Hexagonal design is available in 4 colours, with the option of mixing more than one for a multicoloured effect. The Beamish Cobble blocks emulate a traditional appearance and are manufactured in 3 colours, with stretch edging for authenticity.
Kerb Edging and Fitting
The company provides various designs of kerb edging and fitting, all to suit different features such as steps and curves in an area’s hard landscaping. The concrete can be fitted as high or low rise corners, radius kerbs, end steps and channels.
Bricks
Ideal for use with timber joints, the company provides concrete bricks in the standard size of 215mm x 103mm x 65 mm and lightweight aggregate bricks in 215mm x 100mm x 65mm.
Airtec
These autoclaved aerated concrete blocks contain particularly high thermal properties, performing better than typical aerated products. Tests have proven that this Thomas Armstrong Concrete Blocks product do not chip whilst transporting to the site, provide the best possible dimensional tolerance and are hold a very high fire rating. These blocks are provided in 3 strengths at the standard size of 620mm long x 215mm wide with the option of 100mm or 215 mm thickness.
