Southern Yellow Pine is the world's hardest and most robust pine and has a natural honey colour that bleaches to a soft silvery white in time. The warm tone of this timber is ideal for blending naturally with gravel, stone and pebbles. The timber is pressure treated to provide stability and resistance to movement; it is also water repellent making it suitable for ground and water contact and is guaranteed for 40 years against decay and insect attack. Other hardwood timbers are available including Ipe and Iroko.
