Services

Stop Slip has been supplying anti slip products for many years within shopping centres, retail outlets, car showrooms, hotels, leisure centres, travel terminals, fast food outlets, commercial kitchens, factories, domestic properties and many more. In the UK someone is seriously injured due to slipping every three seconds and business owners or occupiers are responsible for ensuring the safety of staff and customers. Stop Slip will identify danger areas and provide practical and affordable solutions for the management of slip and fall accidents. The HSE recommends that all floors meet the recommended Pendulum Test Value (PTV) of +36 as this is considered low risk. Stop Slip’s on-site slip resistance testing to BS 8204 Part 6 and consultancy services include the following:

• Initial dry and wet slip tests (3 per area)
• Deep clean tested areas (optional)
• Second dry and wet slip tests (3 per area)
• Document before and after test results
• Assess potential causes of risk
• Document all information gathered

Anti-Slip Shoes

The anti-slip footwear Shoes for Crews range has been HSE independently tested and is available in a wide range of options to suit all budgets and requirements. Anti-slip footwear is used by chefs, waiters, cleaners, engineers, drivers, window cleaners, nurses, dinner ladies, builders and food processing staff and comes in styles such as Athletic, Dress, steel or composite toe and casual.

Anti-Slip Tape and Tape Treads

The UK manufactured self-adhesive tapes and treads are suitable for interior and exterior environments and there is an almost endless range of standard and bespoke grades, colours, shapes and sizes. Tap options include standard applications, industrial use, bare feet and food areas, metal profiled steps, hazard, glow in the dark, aluminium plates, caution sheets and treads, reflective, emergency and glow for low light strips and clear bath strips.

Anti-Slip Mats

The Anti-slip mats are designed for high traffic, greasy, wet and oily areas and are specified for areas such as canteens, kitchens, walk-in freezers, butchers, bar counters and food production areas. The mats are also suitable for the majority of commercial and industrial hazardous areas. Products include Mighty Mat Max and Mighty Max Classic which incorporate an anti-bacterial treatment and tapered edges in sizes 91cm x 151cm.

Anti-Slip Stair Nosing

The anti-slip stair nosing is manufactured from fibreglass and provides a long term solution to assist with the requirements of the DDA Part 3. The nosings feature a hard-wearing grit top and provide excellent slip resistance.

GRP Anti-Slip Stair Treads and Landing Covers

The GRP stair treads and landing covers provide a 4mm thick cover for the whole stair and landing area. This covering provides a superior slip-resistance due to the carbon grit which is chemically bonded to the top surface.

GRP Anti-Slip Flat Sheets

The 4mm anti-slip sheets feature a silicone and carbon grit which is chemically bonded to the surface which provides incredible slip resistance in wet or oily conditions on walkways, ramps, gangways and factory floors.

Anti-Slip Ladder Rung Grips

RungGrip is a fibreglass slip-resistant ladder rung cover that increases the surface area for foot contact and increases the friction co-efficiency and visibility. The rung covers can fit over square or round profiles and are widely used on the rungs of fire escapes, service ladders and most other types of ladder.

Anti-Slip Disabled Ramps

Stop Slip provides a range of wheelchair disabled access ramps that provide safe and easy access into buildings and can help in making reasonable adjustments for the DDA. Options include threshold GRP ramps, standard GRP ramps and aluminium briefcase ramps.

Anti-Slip Treatments

Stop Slip offers a unique anti-slip chemical process for porcelain, ceramic and natural hard surface floors. This process is applied by fully trained and qualified operatives throughout the UK and will reduce accidents in wet and dry conditions. The coating can last for up to five years, which is dependent upon the environment.

SlipAlert Portable Slip Testing Machine

SlipAlert has been fully tested and is guaranteed to reduce slip accidents. SlipAlert can be used as part of an approved floor safety regime and is used by numerous businesses to ensure safety in the workplace.
