Soilmec is a subsidiary company of the world renowned Trevi Group, specialising in the supply and service of engineering equipment to construction and drilling industries. The company has new and used equipment such as rotary rigs, piling rigs, geothermal rigs, cranes and accessories and supplies the products throughout the world. The equipment is widely used for bridges, motorways, tunnels, railways, residential buildings and other structures.

New Equipment
Rotary Rigs
Hydraulic rotary drilling rigs are crawler (SR range) or truck (STM range) mounted and range in sizes to suit many projects. The rigs are self mounting and simple to transport. Widely used for cased and deep bore holes, soil mixing, CFA piles, displacement piling and reverse circulation.
CFA Rigs
Mounted on a crawler unit, CFA rigs are self erecting, hydraulic powered machines that are used for cased bore holes, deep bored holes, CFA and CAP piles, displacement piles, soil mixing and down-the-hole-hammer (DTH).
Micro Piling Rigs and Equipment
These rigs are crawler or truck mounted drilling systems are used for injection, micro piles, tie backs, soil investigation coring, jet grouting, anchors using rotary heads, DTH, top hammers, rotops, air/water/mud, casing, continuous flight auger and vibro-rotary.
Geothermal Rigs
These products are capable of drilling bore-holes from 50 to 250 metres deep, for the placement of geothermal probes. The rigs are used to build systems that produce heat for applications such as houses, offices, commercial and residential areas. Geothermal power is an inexhaustible, constant, renewable, carbon neutral and a free form of energy. Soilmec can also source equipment from the sister company Drillmec Spa that is able to extract geothermal fluids from depths up to 3,000 metres.
Cranes
Multi-purpose foundation cranes that range in size from 20 to 120 tonnes. Crawler mounted, these cranes are designed for heavy foundation jobs and incorporate hydraulic vibro-hammers, casing oscillators, hammer grabs and rotary hydraulics. The main features of the cranes include multi element lattice boom, extendable undercarriage, Cummins, CAT or Deutz engines, controlled descent or free-fall winches, self lifting counterweight, removable tracks and a large range of optional extras.
Drillmec
Soilmec works with clients to source oil and gas drilling equipment and work-over rigs from the manufacturer Drillmec. Used for onshore and offshore applications for the upstream energy industry, Drillmec also has a large range of auxiliary drilling equipment. Soilmec has a service engineer that is dedicated to the service and repair of Drillmec machinery in the UK. The range includes land rigs, HH Series, G series, draw works and mud pumps.
