Sarena Mfg Ltd primarily deals with the supply of fibre glass tanks for water storage and distribution in the building and construction sector. The company was established in 1958 but is not dedicated solely to the tank and vessel market. Sarena Mfg intends to grow to encompass the design of bespoke products and the manufacture of systems integrated fibreglass products.
Products
One Piece Tanks
Sarena Mfg manufactures both bespoke and ready designed water tanks, tailored to the required size using an in-house pattern-making facility and offers delivery within approximately 7 days. All Sarena Mfg tanks are designed for high durability with a polyester resin, strengthened by glass fibre and coated internally with a smooth, impermeable gel. All Sarena Mfg tanks are WRAS Approved, made to European Standards and come with a 10 year guarantee. They also comply with the UK Water Supply Regulations 1999 and the Scottish Water Byelaws 2000.
The range of tanks available is:
- Low Range Tanks: This product is adapted for installation in low-pitch roofing and is available with options such as: raised valve boxes, pre-insulation, hot water and chemical resistant resins.
- Sectional Tanks: Sarena Mfg builds this tank within restricted areas due to its structure of individual panels that are manufactured with a hot press, meeting British and EU standards. Each tank is finished with an isophtalic resin, making it perfect for storing water.
- Split Tanks: This unit is incredibly cost-effective and is ideally located where there is limited access. The design comes without the special base supports necessary when using sectional panel tanks and therefore minimises extra costs of assembly and installation.
Enclosures and Housings
All Sarena Mfg Enclosures are manufactured under the ENISO 9001 quality system and are insulated to retain a consistent temperature. Each structure is coated with isophtalic gel, preventing the laminate from absorbing the water inside, whilst the textured external walls prevent weathering. The Sarena Mfg Enclosures and Housings are available as two-piece housing systems or in a variety of sizes, colours and structures, with optional additional housing fittings or flooring.
Sarena Mfg offers two models of Booster Sets:
- The Sarena House Booster: Each of these excellent units is capable of delivering 4.0 bar pressure to a 3 storey house, with up to 3 bathrooms. Ideally designed for a domestic environment, the unit is compact and can therefore be installed anywhere within the property. The Sarena House Booster is supplied with a comprehensive warranty and is built with its own water storage tank, expansion vessel and low water level pump protection device and pressure switch. If used for commercial purposes, Sarena Mfg can include a speed pump.
- Type "IC" Booster Sets: This unit is supplied with a tank inlet valve, pump set and interconnecting pipework. Sarena Mfg manufacture 3 standard sizes, however upon request, the Type "IC" Booster can be adapted. The product is designed to suit category 4 and 5 risk situations in Water Regulations, making it ideal for laboratory sinks, doctors and dentists surgeries and industrial situations.

Sarena Mfg provide GRP tanks to the building and utility services as well as designing bespoke housing and booster sets for both domestic and industrial use.
