They are all tried and tested in the field to produce impressive results.
The company is part of the US-headquartered Cooper Companies Incorporated group and is a sister company to Flexseal Ltd in the UK and to the US-based Source One Environmental Inc, which serves the American markets.
The product range includes:
The Pipe Doctor no-dig patch repair system
A cost effective and easy-to-use solution for the permanent and watertight repair of damaged pipes, without the need for excavation work.
Pipe Doctor is a high performance no-dig pipe repair system that provides a quick and easy to use method of repairing damaged drainage and sewerage pipe systems. The system can be used for the repair of pipes of 70-560mm diameter. The Pipe Doctor Radius System is also available for the repair of swept bends up to 90 degrees of 100mm and 150mm diameter pipes.
Pipe Doctor is installed internally and eradicates the need for costly, disruptive and time-consuming excavation work, therefore enabling both vehicle and pedestrian traffic to move freely without realising drainage and sewer work is being carried out underground.
The Pipe Doctor system was the first of its kind to gain WRc approval and is approved under certificate number PT/379/0316.
S1E also offers a WRc-approved and EUSR certified training course in the installation of the Pipe Doctor system.

The range includes miller machines at different sizes and power levels, plus tools for grinding & polishing, coating, liner and concrete removal and many other applications.
Quick-Lock Point Repair
Quick-Lock is an entirely mechanical, seamless assembly system for patch repairs inside pipes ranging from DN 150 to DN 800 in any common wastewater, well or drinking water pipe system.
The Quick-Lock system has been successfully used for many years as a repair procedure for closed sewer renovation. It can be installed horizontally or vertically, above or below water level.
Certified by WRc, DIBt, and ASTM, and NSF for potable water applications, it is manufactured from high quality materials and is durable.
- The Quick-Lock system seals damaged pipes mechanically, without chemicals and regardless of the pipe material.
- Using the patented Quick-Lock locking system, a secure seal of the EPDM rubber to the pipe is guaranteed.
- Once in position, the Quick-Lock absorbs movement within the pipe line, maintaining the seal.
- For longer areas of damage, Quick-Lock sleeves are used in series one after the other.
K-Prema - No-Dig Internal Pipe Seal
The K-Prema is an internal sealing system for the rehabilitation, repair, maintenance and installation of pipelines that have a diameter ranging from 500 to 4000mm.
Manufactured to suit a range of sewage water, oil and air applications, the K-Prema Internal Sealing System can be utilised on an array of pipe materials including concrete, steel, cast iron, PE, glassfibre and other materials.
The system provides an efficient method of sealing pipes that are damaged due to corrosion, displaced joints, tree roots and ground movement.
The sleeve is manufactured from EPDM rubber and the clamping bands are produced from a high-grade steel.
The Internal Sealing System has an internal pressure of 20 bar and an external pressure range of between 0.5-1 bar.
SealGuard Sealants and Grouts
The SealGuard range of high-performance sealants and grouts was originally developed for the mining industry and can be used anywhere where water ingress needs to be prevented. Each features an impressive expansion ratio to fill voids where they are used. Products include:
- Sealguard II: An extremely powerful polyurethane product that is injected into fast-flowing water to halt infiltration immediately. With a reaction time of just 1-3 seconds, no washout is experienced even in intense water flow.
- Hyperflex: Suitable for more widespread lower flow rate infiltration, this closed cell hydrophobic grout will not shrink and is used for cracked concrete, voids in walls, floors and ceilings, manholes, concrete dams, car park decks and many other applications. It can also be used for ground stabilisation purposes.
- SC-Pox: A premium 100% solids epoxy coating that offers outstanding chemical resistance and lasting durability with adhesion to concrete substrates and metal surfaces. SC-POX is ideal for spot repairing locations quickly and easily, without the need for measuring or guess work. The product creates a repair that is permanent and adds structural integrity to the repaired area.
- X-Seal: A single component hydrophobic sealant which bonds and seals concrete, metal, plastic, wood and pre-cast connections by expanding and filling voids and sealing all substrates. It is often used to seal rings in manhole construction.
Rat Blockers
Rat Blockers are designed to stop rats travelling through drains and are installed into pipes within inspection chambers (manholes). Rat Blockers allow rats to pass freely downstream, but protect property by preventing their movement upstream. By installing a Rat Blocker into the drain outlet, all upstream branches are protected. S1E distributes the Metex Ratwall model and the WRc-approved Nordisk TX11 product.
