Ventilation
The air within interior rooms of a building is polluted on a daily basis via a range of different sources including occupants breathing, perspiring, cooking, showering and smoking, central heating, paint, glue and varnish and interior components such as radon and other harmful substances. Each of these sources will drastically contribute to an unhealthy indoor environment. Many buildings are constructed to be nearly airtight and this can increase stale and polluted air to remain inside. By utilising a continuous and controlled ventilation systems a building can be energy efficient and provide a healthy environment. Products include:
- Invisivent overframe ventilators non and self-regulating options which include a sound dampening module
- Screenvent overframe ventilators non and self-regulating and all include a sunscreen for mounting on the window behind the frame
- Glazed in ventilators
- Conservatory glazing ventilation
- Sonivent self-regulating ventilation for under roof tiles, slates and shingles
Sun Protection Screen
It is vital that humans receive natural light to remain healthy and it is also an ideal source of illumination. There are disadvantages relating to natural light such as a greenhouse effect, faded furniture, glare and reflections on screens. Good quality sun protection systems will provide excellent thermal comfort, keeping a room warm in the winter and cool in the summer whilst allowing plenty of natural daylight. A well designed system will also reduce the energy consumption of a building, reducing the need for air conditioning and can provide an aesthetic benefit to the exterior. A wide range of fabric options are available for the screens that will enhance any home or commercial property. Products include:
- Fixscreen vertical sun protection screen that is wind tight and insect proof
- Fixscreen Mono vertical sun protection screen with extra thermal and acoustic comfort
- Vertiscreen vertical sun protection
- Miniscreen compact vertical solar shading for internal and external use
- Topfix horizontal sun protection screen

Solar Shading
Structural shading is ideal for buildings with large windows or glazed surfaces that face south. During the cooler months the rooms benefit from the incoming sunlight, but in the warmer months the rooms can become extremely warm and suffer from irritating light reflection. Structural shading provides protection from overheating and stops unwanted glare on screens whilst still allowing a visual contact with the exterior view. Options include:
- Icarus Sun Shading is an extruded aluminium aerofoil or rectangular blades for optimal sun protection. The sun shading can be realised with fixed or movable blades in a vertical or horizontal position
- Sunclips Sun Shading comprises of extruded C-shape blades which are mounted on a fixed structure. The system can be fitted horizontally, vertically or inclined to achieve optimal shading effect
- Renson Sliding Panels are aesthetic, multifunctional façade elements. Options include the Sunclips and Icarus Patio panel sliding cassettes in which the blades have been screwed between vertical end cap plates and Loggia panels which are frames fitted with aluminium blades. Different blades can be used with both systems depending on the desired enclosure and see-through visibility and can be positioned at different inclinations with different pitches. In addition to this extensive range of sliding panels, panels with fabric or moveable blades are also available
Continuous Louvres Systems
Continuous louvres systems are suitable for commercial and industrial applications which require large areas of louvres and have no visible joints between the panels, offering a seamless, unbroken appearance. The louvres are available in various sizes, blade pitches and colours to coordinate with any building type. Products include:
