Record UK was formed in 2005 when the UK subsidiary of Agta-Record joined forces with Premier Systems. The company is a market leader specialising in the manufacture, supply and installation of commercial entrances, shop fronts, automatic door systems, aluminium manual doors and toughened glass entrances and screens. Sliding Doors
Sliding door systems are suitable for internal and external entrances that are in continuous use. Sliding doors create a wide opening without the need for a protruding door, therefore saving valuable space. The door systems are available in standard and made to measure options, are extremely reliable, offer a low noise automatic operation and convenience for the user. There are many standard and option features incorporated into the doors such as multi-point locking, recessed floor channels, manual unlocking for emergencies, escape route doors, numerous security features, side panels and fan lights. - Linear sliding doors are suited to all public access buildings
- Telescopic sliding doors are ideal for hotels, restaurants, hospitals and airports

Security Doors
Record UK has developed a wide range of security doors that provide protection to both people and equipment within retail outlets, banks, garages, exhibition centres, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, industrial areas and airports. The systems can incorporate many safety manual and automatic locking and unlocking systems, escape route doors, remote control and monitoring. Options include:
- Smoke resistant doors that seal at the top and bottom to restrict the passage of smoke
- Feucord fire resistant doors prevent heat and fire from breaking through and is suitable for securing fire escape routes
- Total opening systems allows both door leaves and side panels to swivel outwards to 90 degrees and is suitable for installation within escape routes and heavy traffic areas
- Escape route systems are permanently monitored and ensure maximum safety with emergency back-up batteries if the system fails. There is the Scapecord Bat (electrical system) and the Scapecord CO48 (mechanical system)
- Record Safecord burglar resistant sliding doors incorporate high security features such as multi-point locking, laminated safety glass, heavy duty running gear, reinforced doors and extended floor guides
- Flipflow one-way access systems control the flow of people in sensitive areas such as airports, restricted zones and secure buildings. The system incorporates an intelligent sensor system which triggers an alarm if an unauthorised entry is detected
Swing Doors
Swing doors are suitable for internal use within public buildings, hospitals, flats, restaurants, offices, care homes and public transport buildings. By utilising refined technology the swing door operator DFA 127 is practically silent in operation and can be used for numerous applications providing fire and smoke protection. Options include overhead and in-ground swing drive systems and full and low energy models. The C127 under floor operator can be fitted to existing doors of up to 400kg.
Revolving Doors
Revolving door systems come in two, three or four leaf options and are made to individual specification. Diameters of up to six metres or more can be achieved and will enhance the look of any building such as shops, banks, offices, hotels, hospitals, public transport and numerous organisations. Revolving doors provide unimpeded access, offer energy savings and prevent dirt, drafts and dust from entering. Options include two leaf revolving doors with integrated automatic sliding doors, escape routes, integrated showcase, invisible operator, glass finish, controller to reduce revolving speed and night locking.
Folding Doors
Folding doors are suitable where space is at a premium, but still allow for fast and easy access. The Record folding door system can be simply integrated into the majority of entrances and can be fitted in either the front of an opening or between two side walls. Folding doors are often specified for narrow passageways, in hospitals, offices and care homes. Options include folding doors equipped with a total opening system FBO, for use in escape and rescue routes, monitoring of locks and doors that fold from one side only.
Shop Fronts
Record has designed and manufactured a wide range of commercial shop fronts for many of the UK’s leading retailers including Marks and Spencer, Tesco and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Record will carry out on-site surveys, CAD drawings and installation. A project manager will be instructed to oversee the whole project from start to finish. With a 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility, Record offers a specifically designed suite of sections for the framework and doors, making the company one of the most competitive within the market. High Speed Gates
Record has designed a wide range of high speed gates which are suitable for numerous applications such as exterior access, zones within buildings, food production areas, supermarkets, shopping centres and production lines. The gates are reinforced with bars of coated steel, stainless steel or aluminium and have a clear passage of up to six metres. Key uses and benefits include fast acting, durability, can withstand strong winds and integrated ventilation and heating systems to eliminate condensation, ice and thermal bridges. Optional extras include emergency opening, shutters/gate leaves made from textured material/transparent, control box in stainless steel or polyester, assembly in corridors and SAS interlock function is available. For internal applications models include Looksystem, Surfsystem and Greensystem and for external applications the Firstsystem.
Record Communicating Sensors
The Record Bus Sensors 290 offer precise adjustment of field size and sensitivity by incorporating an integrated assistant which makes individual or multiple sensors programming easy. Also available is a range of specialist accessories and equipment that feature unity of design, high recognition values, incredible trigger capability and operational reliability as well as optimum safety and security. Models include the Radar-Motion Detector RAD 290, the Combined Sensor RIC 290 and the Infrared Motion Detector AIR 290.
Door Management System
Record automatic doors can be easily integrated into any local operating network building control system using the LONMark 3.3. LON based technology is the internationally recognised standard for automated buildings management and communications which allows centralised, user friendly control across a wide range of applications such as airports, shops, museums and hospitals. If a fault arises, the flexible alarm system, together with sensitive diagnostics and trouble-shooting software sends messages via email/SMS directly to pre-defined locations. The system options include Record ADMpro and ADMopen.
