Quinshield Ltd designs and manufactures GRP composite and FRP composite structures and enclosures; covers and tanks for a wide range of applications. It also offers portable building refurbishment and repairs.
Established in 1993, its products have been installed in numerous locations worldwide. There are now in excess of 23,000 Quinshield GRP solutions performing well in the field.
Its bespoke glass reinforced polyester products include kiosks, housing, enclosures, cabinets, covers and tanks, shelters and industrial GRP composite structures.
Products
All Quinshield’s durable GRP kiosks and buildings are designed and manufactured to provide the most effective and economic solution to customer requirements. Acoustics range
The Acoustic GRP kiosks and buildings are specially designed to cater for situations where noise reduction is of primary importance. They have been supplied throughout the UK and overseas and typical installations include:

Traditional range
The Traditional range of GRP kiosks and buildings offers a practical, swift and economic alternative to more costly and complex conventional building materials. Any size is possible, from small basic kiosks to large multi-feature buildings and they are easy to relocate and extend. The many advantages of GRP composite construction ideally combine with a traditional appearance to blend with the surrounding environment and local architecture. Finishes available include:
- Pebble dash, roughcast or rendered
- Simulated brick or simulated stone in a range of colours
- Wood finish for conservation areas
- Roofs can be flat or pitched, textured or in simulated slate.
Security Gatehouse range
The Security Gatehouse range of pre-fabricated kiosks and buildings come in three standard sizes with different panel options to provide a variety of door and window arrangements to meet specific client requirements and to give the most effective space and layout arrangement. Endurance range
The Endurance range of kiosks and buildings are robust and secure enclosures for numerous applications and can extend from small kiosks to large span buildings. They have a highly resilient moulded satin exterior finish available in any colour from the BS 4800 or RAL range.
Protector range
GRP cabinets from the standard protector range are available for delivery 48 hours from placement of an order; or there is a 24-hour premier service at additional cost. Non standard Protector cabinet delivery is to an agreed manufacturing programme. An online form is available for obtaining a swift quotation.
Modular range
The modular range of GRP buildings, offer a structurally stronger alternative to the standard kiosk, therefore this method of construction can be implemented when the kiosk is of exceptional height.
Turnkey range
Quinshield can provide a plug in, instantly operable total package system for reinforced glass composite buildings. The sales and engineering departments offer a fully integrated consultancy and design service so there is great versatility in areas including:

Tanks
The scope extends from small portable containers to wide-span modular panel tank systems. Design features include laminated structural reinforcements, stainless steel fittings, watertight seals, algae resistant internal smooth finishes in full compliance with Water Byelaws.
Covers
The GRP composite structures are designed to withstand wind, snow, seismic and personnel loadings. The totally encapsulated construction provides an impervious barrier against the ingress of moisture, with excellent weather and chemical resistance. The scope includes portable lift-off covers; heavy duty self supporting beam type covers for wide spans; circular segmental covers and detachable sectionalised cover systems.
Roofs
Rather than carrying out a temporary repair to a roof on a portable building or traditional building, Quinshield can attend site and install a new totally weather proof GRP roof over an existing structure within a matter of hours. A Quinshield roof can be installed in wet conditions as all seals are mechanical.
