Quayside Conservatories manufactures high quality hardwood conservatories, orangeries, lantern roofs and garden rooms that are supplied nationwide. Each structure is individually designed to reflect the requirements of the client and complement the architecture of their home.
The company also offers a range of bespoke hardwood windows and doors, including multi-folding sliding doors.
Based in Suffolk, Quayside Conservatories supplies its products throughout the UK working with conservatory installation companies, architects, building companies and specifiers, as well as selling direct to private customers.
The company’s skilled craftsmen have been brought together from the construction, joinery and boatbuilding trades and all Quayside products are made using traditional joinery methods. The hardwood is sourced from certified, sustainable forests. Much of the wood is in an ‘engineered’ form to improve strength and stability.
Products
Orangeries
Decorative orangeries are enjoying a resurgence and Quayside Conservatories can make bespoke orangeries to suit all styles and tastes. Options include fully glazed or lantern roofs, ornate cornices, French or folding doors and timber finishes in various shades of green or blue as well as traditional white.
Conservatories
Additional living space can be created with a luxurious bespoke conservatory designed to individual needs. Styles to complement old or new buildings include lean-to, single or double peaked, and double height glazed structures giving light to a galleried landing. Windows can have decorative arches and all sealed double glazed units meet BS6206. Spray finishing is in the customer’s choice of colour.
Garden rooms
Garden rooms provide an alternative method of extension where light levels are controlled by the use of a solid roof, or one that is part-glazed. Doors options include the multi-folding door to quickly remove the barrier between home and garden.
Self-build
All Quayside Conservatories’ self-build models are crafted to the same high quality as the bespoke range. Styles include Victorian, Georgian and lean-to conservatories, each available in a series of set size widths and projections. They can be supplied with either sealed units or polycarbonate roof sheeting and are available in a choice of colours.
Multi-folding Doors
Multi-folding doors are an increasingly popular way of allowing natural light into a room and bringing the outdoors inside. Quayside Conservatories’ multi-fold hardwood doors are suitable both as replacement doors and for new projects, come in a choice of panels and can open outwards or inwards.
Lantern roofs
More and more architects are including roof lanterns in projects to bring light into a room. They can be incorporated into new or existing flat roofs and are particularly suitable for kitchen extensions, stairwells, shops, restaurants and offices.
Doors and Windows
Quayside Conservatories creates bespoke hardwood doors and windows to match existing items or to designs requested by a client. All locking systems used meet the relevant British Standard and security ratings.
All Quayside Conservatories products are factory presprayed using a modern microporous waterborne coating system, allowing the timber to breathe and reducing maintenance requirements to a minimum. The roof systems use sealed units or polycarbonate roof sheets held in place with powdercoated aluminium roof cappings. Manufacture times are normally 6-8 weeks from cleared order, although this can vary.
