Wet Rooms
Sleek and streamlined, wet rooms are a spa like haven with a minimalist, fuss free design which has many benefits. They are a good solution for smaller bathrooms where space is an issue; by removing the bath a stylish and spacious room can be created.
Purus is the only manufacturer to offer a tiled drainage trap which provides an uninterrupted tile design across the wet room floor in the customer’s preferred tiling design.
Stainless steel sanitary ware and accessories range
The Purus stainless steel sanitary ware and accessories range has been developed for use in commercial environments such as public lavatories, hospitals and prison cells where there is a high demand for robust, easy to maintain, functional and hygienic products.
The product range consists of a substantial set of products including WC pans, urinals, washbasins, troughs with practical and vandal-safe fittings, washbasins and tables, cabinets and shelves, outlet systems and separators.
Purus stainless steel toilets and urinals are practical for surroundings where there are tough requirements for durability and hygiene such as in public toilets, sports centres, restaurants and public institutions. Stainless steel toilets are also an alternative in specifically designed environments such as high and low security detention centres as they reduce the risk of damage.
Purus Line
Purus manufacture purus line wet room linear drains which are available in six different horizontal lengths, from 300mm to one metre, and eight different stylish designs with a corner drain using the same designs. All the drains in the range can remove up to 1.2 litres of water per second to meet most wet room requirements.
Purus drains also contain an odour trap as standard. This means that bad air cannot come through the drain even if it is dry. This feature also ensures that water will not rise up into the room if the waste pipe becomes blocked.
Purusline Mini Gully
The Purusline Mini Gully shallow drain is an innovative solution for wetroom installation where space for drainage below the floor is at a premium. It is 52.7mm in height and can easily disperse up to 30 litres of water per minute.
Purusline side exit gully
The Purusline side exit gully is convenient when drainage is required horizontally from the gully. The side exit gully allows for easier installation in this situation as it ensures that no extra pipe work is required to connect the gully to the drainage outlet. It is 104mm in height and can easily disperse up to 72 litres of water per minute.
Square MiniMAX
The square MiniMAXone is one of the world’s shallowest (70mm plus 6mm fall) wetroom drains incorporating a NOOD no-odour trap without a water seal.
The square stainless steel grate, with a side outlet of polypropylene, is ideal for ceramic tiled flooring and comes in six different designs. The side outlet is available in three different lengths, 32mm, 40mm and 50mm, the 50mm outlet can remove up to 60 litres of water per second. The square miniMax is suitable for accommodation projects and Pod installations.
Centre Linear Wetroom Base
A simple to install pre-formed tileable or vinyl covered base for wetroom showers which complements Purus’ range of linear wetroom drains.
The new base has been specially developed for Purus by Pro4ma UK Limited, a specialist designer and manufacturer of wetroom solutions.
The Purus Centre Linear Kit has been designed to provide a waterproof and easy to install wetroom base with a gradient which ensures water will not overflow into the wetroom.
The MAXXUS Wetfloor Former/ Purus Minimax
The MAXXUS Wetfloor Former is a new simple to install pre-formed base for wetroom showers designed to facilitate level access showering on timber or concrete flooring in a variety of formats up to 1500mm x 800mm. It has many benefits including a totally flat underside for easy installation which enables the drain to be simply rotated into the ideal position, and no release agent to inhibit bonding of adhesives for vinyl, tiles on its surface or for tanking or membranes.
The MAXXUS is designed to be used with the Purus Minimax, the world’s shallowest (70mm plus 6mm fall) wetroom drain incorporating a NOOD no-odour trap without a water seal. The MAXXUS wetfloor former has been tested under static load at 1000mm centres and will comfortably support a sustained load of 470 kilos (75 stone) making it ideal for care homes and adaptations.
Mini Brage
The Mini Brage has a vertical bottom outlet made of polypropylene (PP) and is made for use with Vinyl and Ceramic Tiled floors. The drain can be installed in a concrete floor with a waste feed direct to a stack. The Mini Brage 50 has a diameter of 130mm and incorporates a NOOD no-odour trap without a water seal, meaning that the drain will not omit foul air even when the trap is dry. The outlet is 50mm in size and can remove up to 48 litres per minute.The Mini Brage 110 is also available with an outlet size of 110mm and a depth of 100mm.
